A Facebook post with an alleged list of DOLE-approved companies that would receive the P5000 cash aid has been circulating online. Through the official FB account of the Department of Labor and Employment(DOLE), it has been confirmed that no such list exists. The government department immediately addressed the post as fake news. For workers who are trying to see if they’re eligible for the DOLE’s COVID-19 Adjustment Measures Program (CAMP), simply follow the guidelines here. You, yourself, can submit the requirements to the DOLE regional office if your employer refuses to do so.
Furthermore, people are advised to follow the official DOLE FB account and its website to prevent misinformation.
