Samsung has unveiled its latest gaming monitor with a super high refresh rate — the Samsung Odyssey OLED G6.
The Samsung Odyssey OLED G6 (G60SF) is touted as the world’s first OLED gaming monitor with a 500Hz refresh rate.
It sports a 27-inch panel with QHD (2,560 x 1,440) resolution powered by QD-OLED technology, a 500Hz refresh rate, and 0.03ms response time (GTG).
The gaming monitor also supports VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 for vivid colors and deep blacks, and NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support for tear-free visuals.
Moreover, it has a peak brightness of 1,000 nits and features Samsung’s Glare Free technology. The monitor is protected with an anti-burn-in feature called OLED Safeguard+ to maintain visual quality over time.
Samsung has yet to reveal the monitor’s pricing. For its availability, it will first be available in Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia. A phased rollout will happen later this year to additional global markets.
