Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra leaked with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor

The rumored new Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has also surfaced on Geekbench with the model number SM-S918U, following the Samsung Galaxy S23’s appearance on the site for testing software.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is listed on Geekbench as having an unnamed chipset with the “kalama” motherboard logo and a CPU architecture of “1+2+2+3” with a main core frequency of 3.6GHz. Previous leaks have indicated that the processor is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, “1+2+2+3,” which is composed of 1 3.36GHz Cortex-X3 Super Core + 4 2.8GHz Cortex-A715 / A7

The test gadget achieved remarkable single-core and multi-core scores of 1,521 and 4,689, respectively. For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 achieved maximum scores of 1,200/4,200. The test handset appears to have 8GB of RAM according to the listings, but it is anticipated that the phone will also be available in a variant with at least 12GB of RAM. The device also runs Android 13, which is probably OneUI 5.

It is unclear if Samsung would also release a Samsung Galaxy S23 model with an Exynos processor because early speculations said that all 2023 Samsung S-series phones would utilize Qualcomm SoCs, but more recent sources claim that Exynos processors are still being considered.
