Samsung Galaxy S22 series receives One UI 5 Beta 4 update

The OneUI 5 Beta 4 update, which is based on Android 13 and contains a variety of bug fixes and enhancements, has been released for the Samsung Galaxy S22 series. The security patch for October 2022 is also included in the release. In the United States and on all devices where the beta program is now running globally, the new beta version of the software skin is currently accessible.

The 1.5GB upgrade is for firmware version ZVJ2. As was already mentioned, it has many bug fixes, but there are still a few problems with the build, such as a black screen appearing on the monitor when using DeX and the phone screen being locked, a force close happening when you choose a filter from the lock screen menu during wallpaper multi-pack setting, and an Unable to open file message when you receive something through QuickShare and attempt to open it from the pop-up.   • Fixed the issue and executed sleep mode automatically
  • Fixed the issue occurring vibration sound/beep sound, continuously
  • Fixed crash when entering the App folder
  • Fixed crash when changing wallpapers
  • Fixed crash in S pen Air Command
  • Fixed the problem of the Object eraser not working
  • Fixed vibration feedback not working in the Home gesture
  • Fixed the frame-breaking issue when entering from Widget to Home
  • Deleted Multi-user function
  • Other minor bug fixes

Known Issues

  • When the phone screen is off while DeX is running, a black screen is displayed on the monitor
  • After receiving the file with QuickShare, if you try to open it in the receiving pop-up, an ‘Unable to open file’ pop-up occurs (The file is received normally)
  • Forced Close occurs when the filter is selected from the lock screen menu, during the Wallpaper image multi-pack setting
