After months of speculations, Samsung Galaxy M12 is finally out in the wild. Though the rumored 7000mAh battery isn’t here, the other specs are more than enough to compensate for the lack of a massive capacity. In India, the Galaxy M12 is selling for ₹10,999(~Php7,300) and ₹13,499(~Php8,900) for the 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB, respectively. It’s going to be available starting March 18th, and hopefully, it reaches other markets as well.

As for the Galaxy M12 itself, here are its best features in the shortest form possible — Exynos 850, 6000mAh battery, and 90Hz refresh rate display. The chipset isn’t exactly known as a performer, but it’s one of Samsung’s most efficient yet. That said, you can expect the battery to last for days under light to medium usage. However, you do need to wait for quite some time to charge from 0-100% due to the use of a 15W USB-C charger.

Thanks to the 90Hz refresh rate, the Galaxy M12 will feel smoother than most 60Hz phones. Unfortunately, it comes with the expense of having to deal with an HD+ PLS TFT display. Nevertheless, it’s protected with Gorilla Glass 3 and features Samsung’s Infinity-V for the 8MP selfie camera.

Speaking of cameras, a 48MP Samsung ISOCELL GM2 commands the back, while 5MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth cameras assist the main snapper.

Lastly, the Galaxy M12 supports a capacitive fingerprint scanner on the power button, a textured polycarbonate design coming in white, black, and blue colors, a headphone jack, and a heavy package at 221g.
