From 25MP+8MP+5MP triple camera setup of the Galaxy A50, the main sensor has been replaced by a 48MP f.20 wide. It’s the most popular image sensor right now that’s found on tons of affordable smartphones. With it, you can capture very detailed image quality. The same story is shared for the selfie cameras. From 25MP, it’s now 32MP on the Galaxy A50s. Video-wise, Samsung is bringing its handy Super Steady feature on the ultrawide lens.
While most of the specs and display have remained the same, the plastic-based back panel has a new design. Available in Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush White, Prism Crush Green, and Prism Crush Violet2 colors, the finish features a geometric pattern with the holographic effect depending on the light reflection.
While the Galaxy A30s comes with the same camera and design changes, the refresh version of Galaxy A30 is more significant. From 16MP+5MP dual-camera setup, the company added an 8MP f2.2 ultrawide sensor and swapped out the main sensor for a 25MP f1.7 optics.
In terms of design, the back is strikingly similar to the Galaxy A50s with the same set of colors. And whether you like it or not, the biometric unlock procedure is now thru the in-display fingerprint scanner.
To provide perspective, the Galaxy A50 was launched for P17,990 price. It has since received a permanent price cut, putting it down to P15,990. While the Galaxy A30 is currently selling for Php13,990.
