Samsung presented its latest screen technologies at SID Display Week 2026.
One of them is the 6.8-inch Sensor OLED Display with 500 PPI resolution, and combines display and sensor functions.
According to Samsung, this display can now measure biometric data like heart rate and blood pressure. It also includes a privacy feature that hides sensitive information when viewed from the side, which is already in the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.
The brand also showcased an OLED panel called Flex Chroma Pixel, which can reach up to 3,000 nits brightness in High Brightness Mode and covers 96% of the BT.2020 color standard.

Another prototype is the Stretchable Display 2.0 for automotive use. It supports up to 200 PPI resolution and can expand or change shape while keeping clear visuals. The display can adjust its layout depending on driving conditions.

The latest screen technologies from Samsung are still in the prototype stage and are not yet available in commercial products.
