AirPods Pro Lite or AirPods Lite To Be Released Soon?
Apple is the reason why TWS is now a thing. Despite being mocked for the way the original AirPods looked at first, it was its cult that made the trend a norm. Several iterations later, the company has released its most expensive earbuds yet — the AirPods Pro. For P14,990, you get active noise cancellation and consumer-quality audio. But that’s too pricey for a TWS. What about a less expensive alternative? A report claims it’s possible.
DigiTimes shared to its subscribers a publication story that could make Taiwan’s Universal Scientific Industrial (USI) the supplier of the rumored named AirPods Pro Lite or AirPods Lite, whichever the case may be. While specs nor features weren’t mentioned, we guess that it could leave out active noise cancellation to keep the cost down. The cheapest AirPods right now costs P9,490 while the one with wireless charging case comes at P11,790. If the claimed report is true, then we could see the AirPods Pro Lite somewhere along those lines. One thing is for sure though — a new naming scheme is needed as that name is confusing as heck.Â
