The Reno9 series is unveiled by OPPO in China six months after the Reno8 series. A 50-megapixel primary camera, a 6.7-inch 120hz curved AMOLED display with a 32-megapixel selfie camera and a 4500mAh battery with 67w charging capability are all shared by the Reno9 and Reno9 Pro in their common body. The Pro variant has an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a Dimensity 8100 processor, while the standard model has a Snapdragon 778G and a 2-megapixel monochrome camera. Additionally, the Pro variant includes LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
The top-tier Reno9 Pro+ features a larger 4700mAh battery and enables 80w charging in addition to having a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Additionally, it sports a triple rear camera arrangement with an additional 2-megapixel depth sensor and OIS on the primary camera. All three devices run ColorOS 13, which is based on Android 13.
Both models are available in China by December 2. As of writing, they haven’t announced when will it comes to the Philippines. We will let you know as you as soon as we have information regarding this.
