OPPO is apparently saving the best for last as the company is preparing a December 24th launch for the Reno5 Pro+ 5G. Unlike the Reno5 and Reno5 Pro, there’s a flagship chipset inside the device — Snapdragon 865. But much like the rest of the series, you’re looking at 4500mAh with 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 charging, Color OS 11.1 based on Android 11, and a 6.55″ FHD+ AMOLED 90Hz refresh rate display.
As for main cameras, the Reno5 Pro+ 5G is using a different setup. The main sensor is, according to reports, 50MP Sony IMX766. It’s apparently the same sensor that’s rumored to be used on the OnePlus 9 Pro and Find X3 Pro. Completing the quad-camera setup is the 16MP ultrawide, 13MP telephoto, and 2MP depth lenses.
There’s no information regarding the price of the Reno5 Pro+ 5G, but if previous Reno phones have been any indication, it’s going to be expensive.
