Announced last August, OPPO is launching its newest Reno 2 Series in the Philippines on October 12th. Both the Reno 2 and Reno 2F will be added to the original Reno lineup. Additionally, the company is also launching its new OPPO Enco Q1 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones.

Reno 2 and Reno 2F To Arrive Locally, Reno 2Z To Follow?
Reno 2 is the most expensive and powerful of the series. It features the same full-screen build with a shark-fin pop-up 16MP f2.0 selfie camera of Reno. Running on Snapdragon 730G mid-range gaming chipset, there’s a lot of memory to use with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Since cameras are always the highlight of OPPO phones, Reno 2 makes use of a quad-camera setup — featuring 48MP f1.7 Sony sensor, 13MP f2.4 telephoto, 8MP f2.4 ultrawide, and 2MP f2.4 macro. This allows up to 20x digital zoom.
In India, Reno 2 retails for Rs. 36,990 or nearly P27k before taxes.
As for Reno 2F, it’s the cheapest of the bunch. While it has a 6.5″ AMOLED display, the selfie camera is housed inside a regular pop-up mechanism. It runs on Helio P70 chipset which is decent for both casual gaming and time-wasting tasks. It also sports quad-camera setup, however, the 48MP main sensor is of Samsung ISOCELL GM1 while the other two sensors are 2MP monochrome and 2MP depth. Last but not least is the 13MP f2.4 telephoto lens. Together with Reno 2, the Reno 2F launched in India for Rs. 29,990 or nearly P22k before taxes.
What’s missing is the Reno 2Z. It’s basically Reno 2F and Reno 2 combined — featuring Helio P90 instead. It’s available in India for Rs. 29,990 or nearly P22k before taxes.
