After four years, Apple has decided to revive one of its oldest product lineup — the iPod touch. For those who’re into media entertainment above anything else, the iPod touch (2019) now comes with an A10 Fusion chipset with the option to go up to 256GB internal storage. Other than that, it’s the same old music-centric device from the company.
The A10 chipset is the one found on the iPhone 7 lineup. It packs enough power to support the latest version of iOS. In fact, Apple is bragging up to 2x performance, up to 3x graphical performance, along with support for AR games via Apple Arcade. Other features that you will find on the iPod touch 2019 are Messages, Group FaceTime, and Screen Time.

When it comes to design, not a lot has changed — there’s a 4-inch Retina display, a physical home button, single cameras, lighting port, oh, and a headphone jack. Color-wise, the iPod touch comes in Blue, Red, Pink, Space Gray, Silver, and Gold.
Apple is pricing its iPod touch 2019 starting at P14,990(32GB), setting you back at P21,4190(128GB), and going up to P27,990(256GB). You also have the option to add AppleCare Protection Plan for an additional P3,290. There’s no word yet about availability in the Philippines, but the website already has it listed.
