Redmi K50i receives the latest MIUI 14 update based on Android 13

For those looking for a budget smartphone emphasizing performance, Redmi launched the K50i last year in India. The first version of the gadget, released in July, ran MIUI 13, an overlay for Android 12.

The first significant software update for the phone began rolling out less than a year after its introduction. There was a number increase for both MIUI and Android in this release.

The MIUI 14 upgrade for the Redmi K50i by Xiaomi has started rolling out in India. This revision includes Android 13 and the vulnerability fixes from March 2023.

This version of the firmware upgrade is V14.0.2.0.TLOINXM is available over the air. So far, only ‘Mi Pilots’ can use it.

The upgrade should reach a small subset of regular customers in the coming days as part of the “Stable Beta” release. In the future, it will be accessible to everyone.

Redmi K50 is the Redmi Note 11T Pro under a different name for the uninitiated. This upgrade was released for the initial phone in December.

In some regions, the smartphone is known as the Poco X4 GT. This upgrade extends to that as well.

As a result, the Redmi K50i in India is the last to receive the MIUI 14 upgrade, which is built on Android 13. To date, Xiaomi still needs to verify whether or not this gadget will obtain at least one more Android update.
