We’re only a couple of weeks away from unveiling the Redmi K40 Series. And as TENAA suggests, both the K40 and K40 Pro are indeed on their way as they pass regulation. Unfortunately, there’s no sighting of Redmi K40s, the cheapest model of the series. Nevertheless, Xiaomi has been keeping the design of the phones under wrap until today.
The low-quality images from TENAA don’t do the phones justice, but it gives us a glimpse before launch day. Both are sporting nearly identical design from all sides. Though the Redmi K40’s camera hump reminds us of Xiaomi Mi 11, the K40 Pro might be taking cues from the unreleased Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro. The latter also shows two huge camera holes and a fatter module. However, it’s interesting to see the bulges to be thinner than we expected them to be.
Xiaomi has been teasing the Redmi K40 for a while now and claims it’s the cheapest Snapdragon 888 device to date. But you shouldn’t sleep on the Redmi K40, powered by Snapdragon 870, as its price could be a lot more competitive.
