It’s now official — Realme X3 SuperZoom has arrived. The top-end device is the first telescopic smartphone from the company, featuring 64MP quad-cameras with 5x optical zoom and up to 60x hybrid zoom. Realme X3 SuperZoom will become available in the UK and Europe starting June 2nd for €499(~P27,800 before taxes and duties). It comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage and in Glacier Blue and Arctic White colors.
Diving into cameras, the main sensor of the SuperZoom is Samsung GW1. It’s paired with 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 8MP periscope lenses, with the latter featuring OIS. There’s a pill-shaped cutout on the front for the 32MP Sony IMX616 and 8MP ultrawide selfie cameras.
At the core is the Snapdragon 855+ from last year. Despite being an outdated chipset, it still performs very fast. And speaking of, 120Hz refresh rate is present, albeit IPS LCD. Keeping the device cool even under heavy load is the built-in vapor cooling chamber. Two things to take note of are the lack of headphone jack and microSD expansion. The battery is rated 4200mAh and can be charged using Dart Charge technology for top-ups within an hour.
