realme decided to launch the Buds Air 2 alongside Air 2 Neo today. Although the difference in the feature set is almost non-existent, the price for the Buds Air 2 is ₱3,990, with a special sale on the Shopee Brand Day Sale starting April 16, 12 mn that grants you a ₱500 discount.
Much like the Buds Air 2 Neo, the Buds Air 2 features Active Noise Cancellation (up to 25dB) that enables Transparency Mode, up to 25 hours of total playback with 120 mins for a quick 10-min charge, 10-mm Bass Boost Drivers, 88s Super Low Latency Mode and dual-mic noise cancellation for clear call quality. The upgraded R2 chip also offers better connectivity and lower power consumption.
At least based on the landing pages of the two earbuds, the Buds Air 2 exclusively comes with Smart Wear Detection. The obvious difference, however, is the design. The Buds Air 2 has a stem that comes in black and white colors. It may or may not affect sound quality, but it should make it easier to get a feel of the earbuds while it’s on.
