Alongside the Pro variant, POCO has also introduced the POCO M8 5G in the Philippines.
The device sports a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 1080 x 2392 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 3200 nits peak brightness, and a punch-hole design. The screen comes with scratch-resistant glass.
For photography, it features a dual rear camera setup as well. A 50MP main camera (f/1.8) with autofocus and a 2MP secondary sensor. The front camera is 20MP (f/2.2). The rear supports up to 4K video, while the front records in 1080p.
Powering the phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset and Adreno 710 GPU. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB internal storage. Unlike the Pro, the base version is expandable up to 2TB via microSD.
The phone packs a 5520mAh battery with 45W fast charging (50% in 25 minutes) and 18W reverse charging.
Out of the box, the POCO M8 5G runs Android 15 with Xiaomi HyperOS 2 and supports dual Nano-SIM 5G connectivity.
