vivo has launched the vivo Y50s 5G in China as part of its Y-series lineup.
The vivo Y50s 5G features a 6.74-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution (1600 × 720), a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 90Hz refresh rate.
It has a flat screen design and carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
For cameras, the vivo Y50s 5G has a 13MP rear camera with autofocus and a 5MP front camera. Video recording is limited to 1080p. Security features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock.
Inside, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with 6GB + 256GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB, using UFS 2.2 storage.
The phone packs a 6000mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging, along with OTG reverse charging.
Out of the box, it runs on OriginOS 5 based on the Android 15 operating system.
In China, the vivo Y50s 5G starts at CNY 1,799 (approx. PHP 15,299) for the 6GB + 256GB variant. It is now listed on vivo China’s website.
