PLDT is one of the largest internet service providers (ISPs) in the Philippines, and it offers a variety of service plans that start at different prices. However, because millions of subscribers are located all over the country, it is not a secret that some of the service’s users will occasionally experience service disruptions, glitches, and other issues.
On the other hand, because PLDT is one of the major companies in the country, they have developed a reliable system and a variety of channels and ways for customers to contact them to address various issues.

As someone who has used PLDT Fiber for several years, my family and I have experimented with several approaches to get in touch with the telco giant in the hopes that they will assist us in resolving LOS (loss of signal), billing, and other issues.
Fortunately, you can contact PLDT customer support by calling their toll-free number, emailing, or filling out online forms.
As was said, there are many ways to get in touch with PLDT regarding service issues. You have the option of using the legal helpline, going through social media, and even more. All of it will be presented to you in the following paragraphs.

If you have a subscription to PLDT Fiber, you also have a PLDT landline, which you may use to get in touch with the company’s customer care department quickly and conveniently.
Call their 24-hour helpline at the following number: 171. Users of PLDT landlines and those of Smart, TNT, and SUN Cellular can skip paying for this service.
On the other hand, if you are a subscriber to either Globe or DITO, or a customer of any other network or telephone service, you can call the hotline at +63 (2) 88888-171. However, you may be subject to the usual call charges.
This is the most inefficient approach because it takes a long time to get through the lines, and you may have to wait for several hours before a representative answers your call.

This is the way we like to do things. You can send a tweet to @PLDT Cares if you have a problem—no need to stand by the phone and wait for someone to answer.
Just send them a message about how you feel. Then, ensure your customer and phone numbers are included to speed up the process.
After a couple of hours, you’d get a response to your problem. In our case, a technician came to our unit two days after we told them about the situation.

You can also contact the telecommunication company through the PLDT Home Facebook page if you do not have Twitter.
It provides a chatbot that enables you to receive responses promptly. It will require both your telephone and account numbers as a routine procedure to verify and quickly address your complaint.

PLDT has a dedicated mobile app called myPLDT Smart, which is available on Android devices through the Google Play Store and on iPhones through the Apple App Store. This is similar to what many other top telco providers offer.
The app lets you report a problem and get a help ticket. You can also use it to manage your account, pay bills, and do other things.
If you want to talk to a PLDT representative in person, you can make an appointment at the PLDT location closest to you. Pick the branch you want to visit, choose whether you want a virtual or in-store appointment, and set the time and date.

This method can be used not only for transactions after the sale but also for new applications. It’s open from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
If you are applying for PLDT Fiber for the first time, check to see if it is available in your area.
If you are still interested in communicating with PLDT through email, you can send a message to [email protected]. We don’t encourage going with this method because it could result in a lengthy process of going back and forth with responses to each other.
Any of the above methods will need the subscriber’s name, the account number, and the designated phone number to verify the account and solve the problem.
Also, it’s best to have your most recent bill with you since it has all the information they might need.
The PLDT assist support team is available around the clock for technical questions and issues. However, they are only available from 9 AM9 AM to 6 PM6 PM for billing questions.

The headquarters of PLDT may be in the Ramon Cojuangco Building, which can be found at the intersection of Makati Avenue and Ayala Avenue in Legazpi Village, Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines 1200.
