Due to the new international toll-free numbers, SSS members living abroad can contact the agency directly for SSS-related concerns. A limited number of countries in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe are eligible for this call, which is divide as follows:

SMS Inquiry for Social Security Services

In case you do not have a landline at home to make a telephone call to any of the SSS Hotline Numbers, you can now also get in touch with SSS using your mobile phone through text messages if you do not have a landline at home.

You will, however, be charge ₱2.50 per SMS sent as part of the transaction, unlike calling a toll-free number. You would pay much more for this than a simple SMS.

It is easy to initiate your SSS inquiry via SMS by simply texting “SSS” (remove the quotation marks) and sending it to 2600.

At the start of the registration process, you will be ask for your mobile phone number so your SSS Number can be linke.

You can send a sequence of texts to the recipient by using the following format:

SSS REG <SSS Number> <Date of Birth MM/DD/YYYY>

If all of the steps have been followe correctly, you should receive a reply from the number “2600,” which should provide instructions on how to proceed with the actions related to your concern. There is relatively straightforward instruction that is easy to follow.

You can text “SSS 1” (“1” is an indicator for “Contributions”) or “SSS Contributions” to 2600 if you have concerns about your contribution.

Every SMS transaction via this route will cost you ₱2.50 from your existing pre-paid balance. You must have a sufficient amount of pre-paid funds beforehand. It would be best if you also attempt to keep your transactions as short as possible while still being thorough at the same time.
