PLDT introduces its MyOwnWifi Add-On service to enable its users to make the most of their Fiber and Fiber Plus connections. The service’s major objective is to give customers the most bandwidth without overloading individual households’ internet connections.
In essence, MyOwnWiFi enables people to play video games while another person uploads movies to their YouTube channel without affecting the overall performance of their internet connection.
The pricing of PLDT MyOwnWiFi is as follows. All packages come bundled with a WiFi Mesh Router:
Fiber Plans
Plan 1299 – Php 649/month with 25Mbps dedicated speed for each line
Plan 1699 – Php 849/month with 100Mbps dedicated speed for each line
Plan 2099 – Php 1,049/month with 200Mbps dedicated speed for each line
Plan 2699 – Php 1,349/month with 400 Mbps dedicated speed for each line
Fiber Plus Plans
Plan 1899 – Php 949/month with 100Mbps dedicated speed for each line
Plan 2399 – Php 1,199/month with 200Mbps dedicated speed for each line
Plan 2999 – Php 1,499/month with 400Mbps dedicated speed for each line
After registering with MyOwnWifi, customers only need to plug the supplied WiFi Mesh Router into the LAN 2 port of their PLDT modem. Their current bill will be adjusted to include the MyOwnWiFi fees for a simple and convenient monthly payment procedure.
