PAGCOR Warns Public Against Unlicensed Gaming Sites

People were warned by Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation to be careful because there are tons of unlicensed online betting sites that use the PAGCOR logo to trick people.

On Tuesday, PAGCOR Chairman and CEO Alejandro H. Tengco said in a statement that Filipinos should be careful when using fake websites to play games online because they could put their personal and financial information at risk.

The Philippine National Police (PNP), the Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT), and the National Bureau of Investigation have all been told about the results of PAGCOR’s own investigation and tracking work.

In addition, PAGCOR said it is working with law enforcement and electronic payment service companies to stop payments to and from websites that are known to be illegal gambling sites.
