It seems like releasing new phones every month is Reno’s motto. It’s only been roughly a month since OPPO announced Reno 2 Series. That said, in an event in China, the sub-brand of OPPO has already teased Reno Ace — a flagship smartphone with awesome specs.
OPPO Reno Ace Main Features
Ever since OnePlus 7 Pro introduced a faster screen refresh rate on a smartphone, other brands are starting to catch up to the trend. By making the screen refresh 30% more faster, the perceived speed difference is smoother and more fluid. Since the feature isn’t widely present on some local mainstream phones, OPPO plans to be the first to adopt the said feature with the upcoming Reno Ace.
Apart from the faster display, the company is also planning to include the fastest available wired charging on a phone — SuperVOOC 65W flash charge. For reference, OPPO Find X Lamborghini Edition launched with 50W SuperVOOC and 3400mAh battery that goes from 0 to 100% in just 35 minutes. Lastly, a Snapdragon 855+ is said to be the main processing unit of Reno Ace.
With all the specs and features that we know right now, it’s more than likely that Reno Ace won’t be an affordable flagship phone. However, we should know more about it once it launches this October.
