Not long ago, OPPO Philippines released the A94 with a price of ₱13,999. However, that’s the 4G version with a 4G chipset. In Europe, the company announced the same phone, but with 5G capability. Introducing OPPO A94 5G, a Dimensity-powered phone with a price of €359(~₱20,700). It comes in Fluid Black and Cosmo Blue colors and is available starting May 3rd. No word yet whether it’ll release in the global market.
OPPO A94 5G carries similar specs and features as the 4G model; the same 48MP quad-camera, 4310mAh battery with 30W fast charging, Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 on top, and a 6.43″ AMOLED. But to make room for the Dimensity 800U that’s capable of dual-5G standby, OPPO had to remove the MicroSD slot for expanding storage and downgrade the selfie camera from 32MP to 16MP. Design-wise, the rectangular module is slightly different, now with a longer housing.
There’s no word from OPPO whether OPPO A94 5G will reach other markets, but it’s unlikely to hit the Philippine market.
