Unlike the OPPO A92, the smartphone brand launched the entry-level phones A12 and A12e quietly in the Philippines. Their prices are P6,990 and P5,990, respectively. For the A12, you’re getting 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, Helio P35, and distinctive diamond design in blue. As for the A12e, it’s using an older Snapdragon 450 chipset paired with 3GB RAM, 64GB storage, and comes in red color. Both feature 6.22″ HD+ display, 13MP+2MP main cameras, micro USB, and 4230mAh battery. Weirdly, the A12e has a bigger 8MP selfie camera versus the 5MP of its more expensive sibling.
Since we’ve seen online retailers posting the phones for purchase, we believe authorized OPPO stores are also selling them already.

The A12 is probably just the A5s released last year, masquerading as a new release, on the other hand the A12e is the A3s released in 2018. Shouldn’t we be moving forward Oppo instead of backwards? New paint jobs on the oustide, new pattern etc, but inside is still the same phones released in 2018 and 2019.
