Through an official documentary posted on one of OnePlus’ official account on Instagram, the company confirmed that OnePlus Lite Z is going to be called OnePlus Nord. Additionally, the expected flagship killer phone will cost less than $500 or no more than ~P25,000 when roughly converted to Philippine peso. Titled “New Beginnings”; the first episode showed glimpses of Nord that houses two selfie camera on the front in a pill-shaped cutout. Much like most premium mid-range phones today, there’s no headphone jack. While OnePlus Nord will be announced in India next week, 100 units will be going up for pre-order in several hours.
Based on certifications and rumors, OnePlus Nord will use Snapdragon 765G, alongside the fluid 90Hz AMOLED and 30W Dash Charge for the 4300mAh battery. Camera-wise, there could be a 64MP sensor in a triple-camera setup. The price is a bit higher compared to the previous report of INR24,990(~P16,000) — however — that was just a survey and, the specs did not mention a dual-selfie camera.
