Like most smartphone brands, ZTE is jumping on the affordable 5G bandwagon as it releases the Nubia Red Magic 5G Lite. Available in Spain via Vodafone carrier, the mid-range gaming device costs a total of €612(~P34k) under the 3-year €17/month contract.
For that price, you will be getting a 6.65-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The gaming phone comes with a 12MP selfie camera while the rear camera is built with a quad-camera setup consisting of a 48MP sensor, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP depth, and 2MP macro. Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor alongside a whopping 5100mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. ZTE ensures that the device will stay cool even under intense load as liquid cooling technology is present. Lastly, there’s 8GB of RAM paired with 256GB internal storage. Unfortunately, ZTE chooses to not include the audio jack and microSD slot expansion.
Due to the fact that the Red Magic 5G Lite is tied to contract with Vodafone, the overall price of it is higher. If it wasn’t, we could’ve seen it selling for under (€536)~P30,000 as the Red Magic 5G starts at €579(~P32,000).
