Together with Nokia 7.2, HMD Global also announced Nokia 6.2 — a water-downed version with decent specs. With 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage options, the price starts at €199 or around P11k with the top model costing €249 or around P14k. It will be available in October.
HMD Global’s Nokia 6.2 isn’t any smaller than Nokia 7.2 as it carries the same 6.39″ display. There’s a waterdrop notch with sizeable chin bezel. It also supports HDR10 content via Dedicated Pixelworks and can reach up to 500nits of brightness. While the rounded camera module on the back features three sensors, all three lack Zeiss support. However, you do get Portrait Mode with adjustable bokeh effects such as Classic, Heart, and Star. Assisting the main 16MP lens are 8MP ultrawide and 5MP depth. Last but not least is an 8MP selfie sensor.
Available in Ceramic Black and Ice colors, Nokia 6.2 has a similar design aesthetic as Nokia 7.2 sans the Zeiss branding.
