HUAWEI has announced its latest addition to the MatePad series, the MatePad Air 2024, on August 6, 2024.
The MatePad Air 2024 is a 12 inches IPS LCD tablet made with corrosion-resistant materials to handle hand sweat. The tablet includes a Soft Light Edition with anti-glare eye protection for a paper-like writing experience. It has a display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 2.8K resolution, P3 wide color gamut, 3:2 aspect ratio, up to 1000 nits of peak brightness, and HDR support.
HUAWEI uses nano etching technology and a nano magnetic coating for enhanced eye protection and to reduce 99% of ambient light interference. The tablet supports the HUAWEI M-Pencil (3rd Gen) and Star Flash keyboard and is powered by a 10,100mAh battery with 66W wired fast charging.
The HUAWEI MatePad Air 2024 is available in multiple storage options and colors.
The tablet is available for presale in China, with official sales set to begin on August 13, 2024. Pricing options are as follows, the 8GB RAM model with 256GB storage is priced at CNY2,999 (approximately $420 USD).
The 12GB RAM variant with 256GB storage costs CNY3,299 (about $462 USD). For those interested in the Soft Light Edition, the 12GB RAM model with 256GB storage is available for CNY3,599 (around $504 USD).
The top-tier option, featuring 12GB RAM and 512GB storage with the Soft Light Edition, is priced at CNY3,999 (roughly $560 USD).
