Google has just rolled out Android 15 Beta 4.1. What’s new? It’s a small update aimed at fixing call audio crashes and includes the July 2024 security patches.
If you own a Pixel 6 or newer and are part of the Android Beta Program, you’ll get this update automatically within the next few days. It should reach everyone within 24 hours and is under 4MB in size.
This minor update marks the end of Google’s development for Android 15. August will be the last month for testing before the final version is released.
If you haven’t received the update yet, you can check manually by going to Settings > System > Software updates > Check for update. For those with unlocked bootloaders, you’ll need to manually install the update by downloading the OTA file or factory images.
Google is expected to announce the official public release of Android 15 at their hardware event on August 13, 2024.
