Rumors about the iPhone 18 Pro series, which is slated to arrive in 2026, are surfacing now. Check it out!

It’s only been months since the iPhone 16 series debuted and the iPhone 17 series has yet to be released until next year but news about the iPhone 18 series are popping out.
According to Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst at TF International Securities, the iPhone 18 Pro series will feature a variable aperture lens on its wide-camera module, which will allow users to adjust aperture size mechanically and adjust the amount of light that is captured.
Variable aperture technology in smartphones is now available and can be seen in flagship smartphones such as the Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Honor Magic7 Pro. This tech is used in DSLR cameras which allow photographers to maintain image quality, control depth of field, blur areas of a scene, and offer different maximum apertures when zooming.

Kuo also added that Luxshare will provide secondary support for the variable aperture lens, while Sunny Optical will be the main shutter supplier. BE Semiconductor Industries (BESI), which will provide the essential equipment for this update, will enable the assembly of aperture blades.
Stay tuned for more updates.
