POCO is set to release the POCO F7 series next year and leaks have already surfaced online revealing key details about the devices. They will be the successor to this year’s F6 series
According to 91mobiles, the series will include the POCO F7, POCO F7 Pro, and the new POCO F7 Ultra. The base F7 will be a rebranded Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, while the F7 Ultra could be a rebranded Redmi K80 or K80 Pro.
For specs, the vanilla F7 is rumored to be powered by the yet to be announced Snapdragon 8s Elite. The chip will be a slightly underclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite. It will be weaker than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 but stronger than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
Additionally, it will also sport a 1.5K LTPS AMOLED panel and will pack a large 7000mAh battery with 90W fast charging.
According to the leaker, more phones are also expected to arrive with 7,000mAh batteries or more next year.
Further details are yet to be revealed. The F7 series is expected to debut in April next year. The F7 Pro and F7 Ultra might be released first than the base F7.
