
vivo has launched a new budget smartphone in China, the vivo Y50i.
The Y50i boasts a 6.74-inch LCD screen, HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, up to 1000 nits peak brightness, and 180Hz touch sampling.
The display also supports DC dimming, dark mode, and TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification.

For cameras, the rear offers a 13MP shooter, while the front camera features a 5MP sensor.
Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
Battery-wise, the phone packs a 6,000mAh battery with 15W charging support.

The device runs OriginOS 5 based on Android 15 and includes AI features such as AI erase.

The vivo Y50i is priced at CNY1,499 (about PHP11,999) for the 6GB + 128GB version. No word yet on local availability. Stay tuned!
