It’s confirmed! HONOR will launch its new mid-range phone, the HONOR X9d, in Malaysia this September 2025.
Early teasers on HONOR’s Malaysia website show that it shares many design elements with the HONOR X70 released in China earlier this year.
According to HONOR, the device will focus on durability as it will feature an IP69K rating for dust, water, and high-pressure sprays. It also has a reinforced frame designed to handle drops.
Camera upgrades are also expected, with a 108MP main sensor replacing the X70’s 50MP shooter, and OIS is included.
Apart from that, the phone will pack an 8,300mAh battery. Color options will include the X70’s reddish brown and a new Sunlight Gold.
As mentioned, the HONOR X9d will launch in Malaysia on September 24, 2025, at 3PM GMT+8. Other specifications are not yet confirmed and will be revealed at the launch event.
