Ford Philippines has introduced a new rear-wheel drive (RWD) variant of the Ford Mustang Mach-E in the Philippines.
The RWD version uses a single electric motor that powers the rear wheels. It produces 276 horsepower and 525 Nm of torque.
Compared to the all-wheel drive (AWD) model, the single-motor setup improves efficiency, allowing an estimated driving range of up to 615 km on a full charge.
The RWD version also features three drive modes: Whisper, Engage, and Unbridled, as well as a one-pedal driving mode.
On the outside, the vehicle comes with LED projector headlights, sequential turn signals, a frameless grille with active shutters, and 19-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the cabin features synthetic leather seats with 10-way power adjustment for both front passengers, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and rear air vents. It also has a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15.5-inch touchscreen running SYNC 4A, with support for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Cargo space is rated at 402 liters at the rear, expandable to 1,420 liters with the seats folded. An additional 80-liter front trunk (frunk) is also available.
The new Ford Mustang Mach-E RWD is priced at PHP3,199,000 SRP in the Philippines.
