The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) has made its Free Wi-Fi Monitoring System available to the public through its official website.
The system, called the Network Monitoring System (NMS) V2, provides a centralized dashboard for monitoring Free Wi-Fi for All sites across the Philippines.
How to Access?
- Visit DICT website
- From the homepage, go to Services.
- Select Free Wi-Fi Monitoring System
- Open the NMS V2 dashboard
The Monitoring System shows information such as site availability, connectivity status, uptime, reported incidents, and service-level agreement (SLA) compliance.
Users can check the status of monitored Wi-Fi sites by region, province, and municipality. The system also monitors access points deployed in schools, communities, and other public areas.
DICT has been using the NMS V2 internally since last year to monitor network performance, manage incidents, conduct audits, and generate reports. Its public release now allows citizens to view information about the government’s Free Wi-Fi network.
