vivo is set to launch the vivo V80 Lite in the Philippines.
According to vivo, the battery uses 4th Gen Silicon Anode Technology, designed to deliver higher capacity without significantly increasing the phone’s size.
In vivo laboratory tests, the V80 Lite lasted up to 30 hours of video streaming, 30 hours of TikTok playback, 68 hours of calls, and 14 hours of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) gaming in single-app usage scenarios.
The tests were conducted under controlled conditions at an ambient temperature of 25±2°C, with the phone starting at a 100% charge.
vivo also says the battery can retain at least 80% of its health after 1,400 charging cycles. Based on the company’s simulated usage pattern of about 1.83 days per full charge-discharge cycle, this is roughly seven years.
The V80 Lite is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 45°C. In laboratory testing at 45°C, the phone lasted up to 45 hours of continuous calls and 16 hours of navigation.
The vivo V80 Lite is expected to arrive in the Philippines soon. vivo has yet to announce its local price, exact launch date, and other specifications.
