Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) has expanded its Ryzen AI Embedded P100 Series processor lineup with several new models designed for AI-powered edge and embedded systems.
The new chips offer up to 12 CPU cores based on the Zen 5 architecture, with improved integrated graphics using RDNA 3.5.
They also include a dedicated neural processing unit (NPU) built on XDNA 2 architecture for AI workloads.

According to AMD, the updated processors delivers up to twice the CPU core count and as much as eight times higher GPU compute performance compared with earlier models in the series.
The processors are capable of reaching up to 80 TOPS (tera operations per second) of AI performance. By combining the CPU, GPU, and NPU on a single chip, the platform is designed to handle AI tasks that require real-time processing and low latency.
The chips also support ROCm, AMD’s open-source software stack, which enables developers to run common AI frameworks and models on embedded platforms.
In addition, AMD provides a virtualized software stack based on the Xen Hypervisor, allowing multiple operating systems, including Linux, Windows, and Ubuntu, to run in isolated environments.
AMD said Ryzen AI Embedded P100 Series processors with eight to 12 cores are currently sampling, with production shipments expected to begin in July 2026.
Models with four to six cores are also sampling, with production planned for the second quarter of 2026.
