Aside from the Magic V5, MagicPad 3, and MagicBook Art 14, HONOR also unveiled its latest flagship smartwatch in China—the HONOR Watch 5 Ultra.
The HONOR Watch 5 Ultra boasts an aerospace-grade 5 titanium alloy body and scratch-resistant sapphire glass. It has been certified by Switzerland’s SGS laboratory with a 5-star durability rating for shock, corrosion, and scratch resistance.
At the front, the smartwatch sports a 1.5-inch circular AMOLED panel with 466 x 466 resolution and a 310 PPI pixel density. With its Mohs 9 hardness, the sapphire crystal glass prevents scratches and maintains visibility in bright sunlight.
In addition to 105 sports modes, it also has a 40-meter Free Diving Mode, certified under EN13319 standards, that records direction, depth, speed, and water temperature. It is rated 5ATM and IP68 for water and dust protection, and it has two apnea training modes and one test mode.
For sensors, the HONOR Watch 5 Ultra is equipped with ECG, heart rate monitoring, accelerometer, gyroscope, barometer, ambient light, and geomagnetic sensors. Other health-related features include sudden cardiac arrest screening, autonomic nervous system monitoring, and China-PAR cardiovascular risk assessment.
Health metrics like heart rate, blood oxygen, stress, and sleep can be tracked through the HONOR Health Scan app.
Users can also record on the go through the watch, and it will sync with HONOR Notes on the user’s phone.
AI features are also incorporated within the smartwatch.
Connectivity features include Bluetooth 2.4, NFC, and positioning systems, including GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BD, and QZSS.
For battery, it can last up to 15 days when not using eSIM, 10 days while using eSIM to pair with an Honor phone, and 3 days when using eSIM alone.
The HONOR Watch 5 Ultra is priced starting at CNY 1,999 (~PHP 15,766) and is now available in China. There’s no word yet on local availability. Stay tuned for more updates.
