MMDA to Roll Out New NCAP Features

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) will introduce new enhancements to its No Contact Apprehension Policy (NCAP) system this August.

Through the official NCAP web portal, motorists will be able to search for violations using their plate number and ticket number without needing the MV File Number.

According to MMDA’s official Facebook page, each Notice of Violation (NOV) will also have a unique QR code that can be scanned to view violation details and make online payments.

NCAP text notifications will include an online safety reminder, while follow-up notices and reminders will be sent through text or email for each NOV issued.

The MMDA reminded motorists to verify that NCAP text notifications come from “MMDA_NCAP” and emails come from [email protected].

The new features are scheduled to be implemented soon.
