The Philippine government has launched eGovAI, an AI-powered feature integrated into the eGovPH Super App.
Developed by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), eGovAI includes “Kuya A,” an AI assistant that can provide guidance on government services and answer user questions.
The platform also offers tools for document extraction, image identification, form understanding, speech generation, and real-time translation across multiple Philippine languages. Users can also access information on tourism, laws, policies, and government guidelines.
For identity verification, eGovAI includes electronic Know Your Customer (eKYC) and AI-powered liveness checks designed to help verify users and prevent unauthorized access.
DICT also allows approved government agencies to create their own AI tools using agency documents, approved services, and governance rules.
The service is available to verified eGovPH users.
