Spotify has launched a new feature called Page Match, which lets users sync their progress across audiobooks, e-books, and physical books.
The Spotify Page Match has now rolled out, following its initial appearance in a report last month, to simplify switching between audio and text.
This feature allows users to sync their current page in a physical book or an e-book to an audiobook on Spotify. To use this feature, users can open Spotify and launch the audiobook in the app. They can then select the Page Match button and click Scan to use the camera to scan a page in a physical book. Then, Spotify will match the page to the corresponding moment in the audiobook. Users can choose an option to Play or Save for later.
Additionally, the feature can be used to switch from listening to reading. Users can open the audiobook in Spotify, tap the Page Match button, choose Scan to read, and then scan any page in the book or e-book to allow Spotify to orient itself. After that, Spotify will direct users to the book section that matches their most recent listening.

Page Match will be available to audiobook listeners on iOS and Android for most English-language titles by the end of this month. Meanwhile, users in the US or UK will be able to purchase physical books via the Spotify app through a partnership with Bookshop.org, which supports independent bookstores.
