ICYMI, Samsung is adding support for AirDrop to its Quick Share system on the Galaxy S26 series.
According to Samsung, this will result in easier file sharing between Samsung and Apple devices.
The feature has already started rolling out last March 23 in South Korea. With further rollout to other regions, including Southeast Asia, soon.
The feature will first be available on the Galaxy S26 series, with plans to extend support to other Galaxy devices later on.
Additionally, Samsung stated that the “Share with Apple devices” option will be enabled by default.
Availability and timing may vary depending on the market.
In a related news, Google has also introduced Quick Share compatibility with Apple’s AirDrop with the Google Pixel 10 series.
