Display

For the the Galaxy A37 5G and Galaxy A36 5G, both models share the same 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

However, the Galaxy A37 5G introduces a higher peak brightness level of up to 1900 nits, compared to 1200 nits on the Galaxy A36 5G.

This may improve outdoor visibility under strong sunlight, while typical brightness and overall panel specifications remain similar.

Performance

In terms of performance, the Galaxy A36 5G uses the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, while the Galaxy A37 5G switches to the Exynos 1480 (4 nm).

Samsung also highlights internal improvements such as higher CPU and GPU performance, along with a significantly upgraded NPU.

In practical terms, this suggests better handling of AI-related tasks and potentially improved efficiency, though real-world differences will still vary.

Memory and storage configurations are also mostly unchanged, with both offering 8GB RAM variants and up to 256GB storage, and no microSD card support on either model.

Camera

Just like the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A56 5G, there’s not much of a difference in the Galaxy A37 5G and Galaxy A36 5G.

They both feature a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, a 5MP macro camera, and a 12MP front camera.

But Galaxy A37 5G adds software-level improvements such as “Big Pixel” processing and an enhanced ISP, but overall, the sensor setup itself is the same.

Battery

Battery capacity is identical at 5000mAh, with 45W wired charging support on both devices.

Charging speed and battery size remain unchanged, meaning endurance differences will likely depend more on processor efficiency rather than hardware changes.

Design and Build

Design and build are also very similar. Both phones measure the same and use Gorilla Glass Victus+ on the front and back with a plastic frame.

The main durability difference is in the protection rating, the Galaxy A36 5G has IP67 water and dust resistance, while the Galaxy A37 5G upgrades this to IP68.
