Instagram is testing a new premium subscription called Instagram Plus in select countries, including the Philippines.
The subscription adds several features focused on Instagram Stories like allowing users to create multiple custom audience lists beyond Close Friends.
Subscribers can also extend a Story’s visibility for another 24 hours and highlight one Story per week to increase its reach.
Subscribers can view Stories without appearing in the viewer list. They can also see how many times their own Stories have been rewatched and search their viewer list to find specific people more easily.
Meta has not confirmed all test regions, but the feature is being tested in several countries, with pricing varying depending on the location.
In the Philippines, Instagram Plus is reportedly priced at PHP 65 per month.
The feature is still in testing, is not yet available to all users, and is currently limited to mobile devices.
