The vanilla Pad 8 runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, while the Pad 8 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. They both start with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Pro variant goes up to 16GB RAM and 512GB internal storage.
A large 9,200mAh battery powers both tablets, with 45W fast charging for the Pad 8 and 67W fast charging for the Pad 8 Pro. Both support reverse charging.
For optics, the Xiaomi Pad 8 is equipped with a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro features a 50MP main rear camera and a 32MP front-facing sensor.
