vivo has confirmed the launch date of the upcoming X200 Ultra, which will debut in China.
Aside from that, the launch event will also feature other products, including the vivo X200s, Pad5 Pro, Pad SE, and a new smartwatch.
vivo describes the X200 Ultra as a “pocket smart camera that can make calls.” The device is expected to carry a 50MP Sony LYT-818 main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens using the same sensor, and a 200MP Samsung HP9 periscope lens with OIS.
However, as you can see on the teaser images below, it will feature a bulky camera module.
Also, according to vivo’s teaser, the device will be powered by vivo’s imaging chips, VS1 for pre-processing and V3+ for post-processing.
The phone supports 4K video recording at 60fps in 10-bit Log and also offers cinematic 4K at 120fps.
A physical Action Button will be placed on the side for camera controls, while a customizable zoom flash system will enhance portrait shots to DSLR-like quality.
