vivo has officially launched OriginOS 6, its latest operating system.
The new Origin Smooth Engine boosts overall performance by optimizing computing, storage, and display, resulting in faster app launches, stable frame rates, and smoother animations.
Touch response, transitions, and overall stability have also been improved, with SGS confirming long-term smoothness.
On the design side, Origin Design introduces a clean new look with refreshed icons, colors, and the vivo Sans font (supporting 40+ languages). Users can now enjoy more customization with new Lock Screen and Home Screen grids, Flip Cards, and dynamic widgets like Immersive Weather.
Built with AI at its core, OriginOS 6 integrates Google Gemini and Circle to Search, plus handy tools like AI Retouch, Smart Call Assistant, DocMaster, and AI Search. A new feature called Origin Island lets users interact with live updates and content across apps easily.
The update also brings stronger privacy through the vivo Security framework and better battery efficiency with BlueVolt technology.
The vivo OriginOS 6 is rolling out globally starting in November 2025, with schedules varying by region.
