Roblox is working with the Philippine government to integrate PhilSys into its age and identity verification system.
According to Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Secretary Henry Aguda, Roblox has agreed to support the integration. A Roblox team is expected to visit the Philippines in the first week of September to discuss the technical details.
According to the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC), users who do not complete age verification may lose access to chat and face limits on certain games.
The PhilSys integration could be ready by October, although the final implementation details have not yet been confirmed. Additionally, Roblox is also expected to open an office in the Philippines in the same month.
