motorola has officially unveiled its latest smartphone under the edge series, the motorola edge 50 neo. It is now rolling out to select European markets and the UK as well.

At the back it features colors curated by Pantone and materials like vegan leather or vegan suede. It is available in four colorways: Pantone Poinciana, Pantone Lattè, Pantone Grisaille, and Pantone Nautical Blue.

For specs, the motorola edge 50 neo sports a 6.4-inch flat pOLED panel with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, up to 3000 nits of peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

One of its main selling points is its durability. It comes with MIL-810H standard and also has IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance, which the brand claims can withstand dust, dirt, and sand over 1mm in size, along with submersion in 1.5 meters of fresh water for up to 30 minutes. According to motorola, the phone also passed several durability tests and can withstand extreme environmental conditions.

Under the hood, it is powered by the 2.5GHz 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 octa-core processor with Mali-G615 MC2 GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 512GB uMCP internal storage.

For battery, it packs a 4310mAh battery capacity with 68W Turbo charging and 15W wireless charging.

Camera-wise, the motorola edge 50 neo boasts a 50MP Sony LYTIA  700C main sensor with OIS, a 13MP ultra-wide shooter with 120° FoV, and a 10MP telephoto lens with up to 3x optical zoom. Upfront is a 32MP selfie camera with 4k video recording.
